About

I am a parent and an educator who, along with my husband Scott, has had the amazing privilege to raise our family in Dublin and the Dublin City School District.  I am seeking a position on the school board in order to ensure that Dublin City Schools remains a top-tier school district in the nation. I look forward to being able to bring the perspective of the teacher into the decision making process, while at the same time keeping what is best for students as top priority in every school board decision.

I have been a government teacher in Hilliard City Schools for twenty-three years;  teaching Advanced Placement US Government and Politics, US Government, and Political Science 200 through a dual enrollment program with Kenyon College.

I hold a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton, and am currently working towards a Masters in American History and Government at Ashland University.  My passion is teaching government to foster civic knowledge and citizenship skills in our future generations.  I am excited to be a public servant on the school board as a further extension of my civic duty as a citizen.
